Chris-Marine develop, produce, and sell precision tools and machines used when monitoring and overhauling marine diesel and gas engines in merchant vessels and IC engine power plants. Our headquarters are in Malmö , Sweden, with production units in Copenhagen, Denmark, Rellingen Germany.

About the position
As Chris-Marine Service and Operations Manager you will be part of our Global Service team and closely linked to our Sales Development and Technical Department.
Your workplace is in Singapore, but you will be spending a lot of your time working proactively to increase service and build potential with our customers; ship owners, marine workshops, on ships, in power plants and at shipyards in our Asia Region (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, neighbouring countries, etc).
You will learn about the use and purpose of our engine maintenance equipment and thereby act as advisor towards our customers. When meeting customers, you capture their needs, some of which are used for generating new products and services.
You interact with our product development engineers and actively contribute to turning good ideas into products that create value for our customers.
You may need to travel to our covered regions as well as to our Headquarters in Sweden, and to Denmark and Germany, should there be a need.

About you
More emphasis will be put on your personal features and experience than on your formal education.
The position involves interacting with people, both internally and externally, and it is important that you like to listen, learn, and act.
You have a commercial or operational background within B2B sales. Previous experience from and connections within the marine industry is an advantage.
