The Electronic Crankshaft Deflection Indicators are time-saving devices for checking crankshaft deflection.

LEMAG DI-5

The LEMAG Electronic Crankshaft Deflection Indicator – LEMAG DI-5 – replaces the time consuming, risky and unpleasant tasks of a mechanical micrometer dial. Thanks to its simplicity, the deflection indicator can be used regularly for deflection checks, and thereby identify potential problems to avoid expensive engine repairs.

The new LEMAG DI-5 can be upgraded by the manufacturer to version DI-5C. There is no need to replace the entire device.
After the upgrade the device features an interface for transferring the data to a computer.
In addition, LEMAG DI-5 can be combined with an ovality kit for measuring cylinder liner ovality and comparing bore liner wear for diameters of 180 – 600 mm and stroke up to 870 mm.

LEMAG DI-5C

The LEMAG Electronic Crankshaft Deflection Indicator – LEMAG DI-5C – is the latest innovation in crankshaft deflection measurement.
LEMAG DI-5C is equipped with a micro processor, which enables the user to print and download measurement results.
It consists of a transducer with various extension bars made of invar alloy. which ensures minimal heat expansion.
The device is delivered with a strong instrument case, rechargeable batteries and a charger.

DI-5C Ovality kit (optional)

  • The ovality kit is designed to measure cylinder liner wear and ovality.
  • The standard kit enables cylinder liner measurements with diameters between 180-600 mm and stroke up to 870 mm.
